  My son was told he had atypical acne. Was given doxy and topical meds by pa rohena. It looked very infected. Went back for follow up and she said she saw improvement. I saw little. Had to take him to an urgent care. They did a culture on back and it was a resistant bacteria. NOT ACNE. This germ can cause many serious complications. Faxed them the results twice. Was told id get a call back twice but didnt this week. Was told an actual dr not a pa would call as she was out today. My son has immune issues and i wanted to rule out any further issues or potential complications for him. Called yesterday and nurse said pa rohena didnt respond. No call back. Told actual dr would call today..nothing. no after hours svc either, just some automated systen that leaves u on hold forever and disconnects u. want to rule out he doesnt need a er visit due to resullts. This is neglect and really crappy. Derm one, if ur reading this, your practice owes your pts a call back in a potentially urgent situatuon. Rohena should have cultured this from the beginning like i asked. Pathetic i have to spend twice the $$$ for them not doing their job by going to an urgent care that caught a skin infection that a derm should have in the first place. Absolutely pathetic.
